WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
- Neurons are cells that make up our brain and are responsible for transmitting information, so it is very important to provide the nutrients and energy needed to keep them active and aid cognitive performance and the production of neurotransmitters, which is achieved with active ingredients such as vitamin B5.
- The formula of Memorup® Senior contains Phosphatidylcholine and Phosphatidylserine, important phospholipids that make up the lipid bilayer and play a fundamental role in cell membranes.
- To achieve a more complete action, these active ingredients are complemented by Coenzyme Q10, which is essential for providing the necessary energy to brain cells, Cocoa extract, which contributes to normal blood flow, and botanical extracts such as lemon balm, which provides relaxation and prevents the nervousness sometimes caused by this memory loss, and sage.
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
- Exercise your mind: essential for delaying memory loss and improving our cognitive abilities in general. Doing crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and sudokus or reading regularly are activities that will help you keep your concentration and memory active.
- Protect your heart: do not smoke, walk to keep blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar within the recommended limits and maintain a healthy weight. Cardiovascular health is important in order for nutrients and oxygen to reach the brain.
- Exercise regularly: this can have a direct beneficial effect on our brain cells by increasing the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain.
- Diet: what we eat influences brain health through its effect on heart health. Recent studies suggest that following healthy eating habits, such as the Mediterranean diet, helps protect the brain.
